Sunday. August 7th. Eldest granddaughter arrived earlier today to spend five nights R & R. Tonight, after supper, there was a championship checkers game followed by a lengthy knitting session. She's greatly looking forward to Summer Pottery Camp beginning tomorrow; we've requested nothing less than a well-fashioned urn :)
